Last night we had the privilege of being invited to play live on Vic Galloway’s Radio 1 show and all in all it was really very ace. We had great fun playing, everyone was very friendly and we generally managed to not screw up entirely live on air. The pasta salad wasn’t too bad. The feeling you have when realising there’s twenty seconds till you’re on air was somewhat of a novelty. The 4am home time and 9am starting work time is always a joy. The sense that there are people listening that you can’t see or hear was slightly unusual. Trying to remember the words to a new song while not really trying was challenging. Talking with Vic of our shared Middle Eastern upbringing was unexpected. Managing to come out with “I point and say ‘Do’ ” with regards to my working relationship with my wife was perhaps a little risque…Recent Posts
